This past weekend we read a prayer in service called “To Be Fit for God.” It comes from a collection of Puritan prayers and devotions called The Valley of Vision.

How do you describe an experience as intense as two weeks of travel and ministry and conversation during a Kenya, Africa winter?

My emotions swirled in frustration in a particularly difficult season of my marriage. My husband’s disillusionment with life, God, and our marriage had taken him to a place of rock-bottom depression.
