Counseling and Pastoral Care
When you're part of South Side, you're part of our family. Our family is there for you in good times and bad.
Weddings
Nothing is better than seeing two unite to serve Christ together in their lives. We frequently host weddings for those that regularly attend South Side. Check out our Wedding Guidelines for more information or feel free to go ahead and complete the Wedding Request Form.
Funerals
In a time of loss, whether sudden or expected, South Side is there to support, love, and serve. If you have lost a family member and would like South Side to host a service or funeral dinner, feel free to contact the Church Office or any of our staff pastors for more information. Our Stephen Ministers can also be of assistance during the various stages of grief.
Visitations
Most days a pastor will visit with any South Sider that finds themselves in the hospital. If you plan on spending time in the hospital and would like a hospital visit, please be sure to contact the church office. Often times HIPAA regulation can prevent us from knowing those from our congregation who may be hospitalized.
Similarly, if you or a loved one is home-bound and would like either a visit from a pastor or communion on Sunday, please contact our church office.
Counseling
In many instances, one of our volunteer Stephen Ministers can help provide care for those experiencing grief, divorce, job loss, chronic or terminal illness, or some other life crisis.
For instances where a professional counselor is needed, South Side is pleased to provide a location where licensed counselors meet with both South Siders and those who do not attend our congregation. These counselors have a vision to serve hurting individuals and families by providing Biblically-based professional counseling. For more information about Living Hope Counseling Service, click here.
