Thank you for your interest in serving on staff at South Side Christian Church. South Side is a congregation in the heart of Springfield, Illinois with a rich and diverse history. Since 1944 we have been guiding everyday people into a Christ-following family. Through a variety of ministries and strategies, South Side has grown to become a 700+ member congregation of all ages and backgrounds.
Through this key leadership role, our next Worship Pastor will help the everyday people of South Side encounter God through worship environments on Sunday mornings, and spilling over into everyday discipleship. This leader will be surrounded by and will invest in a group of wonderful, gifted, multi-generational South Siders, who are eager to use their gifts in service.
