The worship song called “The Goodness of God” has this lyric: “I’ve known you as a Father; I’ve known you as a friend.” This topical series will highlight attributes of God the Father to re-introduce us to him as Father and Friend. So many people have a damaged view of Father and their view of God suffers accordingly. But if we can pair these identities together, perhaps our church can value our Father in a deeper way.
